RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific responsibilities include up to ten weeks of travel in an assigned territory to high schools and college fairs meeting with students, parents, school counselors and alumni; interviewing candidates for admission and presenting group information sessions; reading applicant files and making admission recommendations; planning and conducting appropriate follow-up activities off-campus for prospects, parents, school counselors and alumni to meet enrollment goals; and assisting with office and program projects as assigned. Other responsibilities may include, but not limited to assisting with the coordination of on and off-campus recruitment events and / or assisting in the management of admission publications, including those produced within the University and those created by outside vendors. Some weekend and evening work will be required.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must possess at least a baccalaureate degree. Prior admission experience preferred, but not required. The successful candidate must be a team player, possess strong initiative, be able to think creatively about recruitment and marketing, be able to hold self accountable for assignments and goals, pay close attention to detail, be well organized, possess strong written and oral communication skills, be comfortable interacting with a variety of people, and be committed to the value of a liberal arts education. A valid driver’s license is also required.
