RESPONSIBILITIES
The Assistant Director of the Annual Fund represents a vital member of our overall Development and Alumni Relations team. The position calls for significant travel and face-to-face solicitation of leadership-level Annual Fund donors. The incumbent will also work with a portion of the Annual Fund's volunteer network with an emphasis on coordinating the fundraising and event planning of a reunion class or classes. The Assistant Director also performs other duties as assigned. Travel, evening and weekend work are required.
REQUIREMENTS
A college degree is required, as is a strong appreciation for the merits of a liberal arts education. Preference is given to candidates with three years experience in development, higher education or other relevant work. Must also have effective writing and public speaking skills; ability to build relationships and establish trust with a broad spectrum of alumni and friend constituents; and positive attitude, energy and collaborative team contributor.
