RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Human Resources reports to the Vice President for Finance and Administration and provides leadership and vision in planning and managing all programs of the Office of Human Resources in its support of the University’s vision and mission which include Human Resources policy development and implementation; recruiting, hiring, and retention of employees from local, regional and international locales; employee orientation and training programs; salary and fringe benefits administration; consultation on employee issues with senior administrators and University legal counsel; conflict mediation and resolution; and leadership and support for University diversity programs.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Management or related field required; Masters Degree preferred. PHR or SPHR certification preferred. Five to ten years of progressively responsible related experience with three to five years at the leadership level, and demonstrated knowledge of major elements and best practices in contemporary programs for human resources management.
