Resources for International Students

International students and scholars, in growing numbers, are bringing their own experience of the world to the DePauw University community while enjoying the many benefits that a DePauw education has to offer. The Center for International and Experiential Education , located in the Durham house, assists them in understanding immigration laws and procedures that may apply, ensuring that they arrive in the United States with the appropriate visa for their career at DePauw.   Every staff member in the Durham House is available to answer questions and provide support to international students, faculty and staff. The staff members of the International Education and Off-Campus Study Center serve as advisors to all international students.

Student Organization for International Students

The International Student Association (ISA) exists to create a bridge between international students and American students at DePauw by increasing cross-cultural awareness. ISA produces two main events each academic year. In the Fall semester, ISA coordinates the International Bazaar which showcases the many cultures on campus through food and cultural performances.

The Spring semester event is the Food Festival. It features ethnic cuisine and talent such as singing, dancing, poetry and more. ISA also organizes other events. Recently, they have visited the Oktoberfest in Indianapolis and Turkey Run State Park.
