DePauw's National Month of Service

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.” ~Margaret Mead (former DePauw student)

Are you ready to make a difference in your community this spring?
Join the DePauw National Month of Service and do just that!

When: Throughout the month of May 2008

How do I get involved: Click the link to the right to see regions that already have plans underway! If so, contact the host and join in!

If your area is not listed, volunteer to be a host! Contact the Office of Alumni Relations at alumnioffice@depauw.edu or call (877) 658-2586 and our staff will get you started.

How do I find projects: There are over 400 Volunteer Centers throughout the country that are aware of the most pressing needs in your area. Affiliated with the Points of Light Foundation, Volunteer Centers work closely with thousands of causes and agencies that welcome your assistance. If your local Volunteer Center (check out http://pointsoflight.org/centers/find_center.cfm) is not aware of any planned projects for May, its staff can help you design a meaningful volunteer experience for all.

DePauw students and alumni make a difference in their communities every day, collectively let us join together a make a big difference throughout the nation in the month of May!
