Stoffregen earns SCAC Coach of the Year
honors
After leading the Tigers to a third straight
Southern Collegiate Athletic
Conference title, head coach Kori Stoffregen has earned SCAC Coach of
the Year honors for the third straight time. Stoffregen has picked up 10
such honors combined in men's and women's cross country and men's and
women's track and field.
Flory finishes 72nd at NCAA Championships
Simon Flory finished 72nd at the NCAA Division III Championships
hosted by St. Olaf College. The junior finished in a time of 26:06.3.

Tigers place third at regionals; Flory places third to advance to
Division III Championships
Simon Flory finished third in 25:03 at the Great Lakes Regional and
advanced to the NCAA Division III Championships. The Tigers finished third
as a team. Graham Wellman finished 12th in 25:27, while Torrey Teats was
15th in 25:35.

The Tigers won their third straight Southern Collegiate Athletic
Conference championship as they finished with 17 points to runner-up
Rhodes with 66. Graham Wellman won the meet with an SCAC-record time of
25:53. Simon Flory (2nd, 25:59.69), Torrey Teats (3rd, 26:05.62), Ben
Stallsworth (5th, 26:30.03), Peter Hogg (6th, 26:48.67), Jared Mann (7th,
26:57.79) and Richie Brown (12th, 27:25.48) rounded out DePauw's all-SCAC
performances.

Behind Simon Flory's 11th place finish and Graham Wellman's 15th
place showing the Tigers placed in a tie for third at the Wisconsin-Parkside
Invitational.

Tigers finish 13th at Indiana State Invitational
DePauw was the top finishing non-Division I school at the Indiana
State Invitational as it placed 13th among the 20 teams.

weather
The Tigers were unable to make it to the Indiana Intercolleigates
due to the severe storms that passed through the Bloomington area on
Friday afternoon.
Tigers win third straight meet with GLCA title
Finishing with just 38 points, the Tigers brought home first at
the Great Lakes Colleges Association Championships hosted by Kenyon.
Graham Wellman placed third in 27:04 followed by Simon Flory who was fifth
in 27:16 and Torrey Teats who placed sixth in 27:29. John Stewart was 10th
in 28:17.

DePauw wins Hokum Karem
The Tigers finished with 11 points to win the Wabash College
Hokum Karem by two points over the University of Indianapolis. Wabash was
third with 32 points. The tandem of Graham Wellman and Torrey Teats
finished second in 29:11, while Keith Marshall and Simon Flory were third
in 29:30.
Tigers easily win first meet of 2002 season
The Tigers took the top 10 individual spots and 12
of the top 13 on the way to an easy win over Franklin and Hanover at the
Grizzly Invitational hosted by Franklin College. DePauw finished with the
minimum 15 points followed by Franklin with 61 and Hanover with 64. Torrey
Teats won the meet in a course record time of 26:26, while Simon Flory was
second in 26:31. and Graham Wellman third in 26:43.
