Schreiner named all-Mideast
Senior midfielder Richie Schreiner was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Mideast Second Team after leading the 15-3-1 Tigers with 10 goals and 23 total points. DePauw finished the regular season ranked 18th in Division III.

Six DePauw players earn all-SCAC honors
A total of six DePauw student-athletes were voted onto the three all-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference teams including four on the first team. Seniors Richie Schreiner and Marc Pfleging as well as junior Wes Molyneaux and freshman Craig Lippincott were first team choices. Evan Shook was named to the second team and Page Cotton to the third. Tigers defeat Engineers 2-0; equal school record for wins
Bryce Skeeters scored with 29 seconds left in the first half and Andrew Penalva scored early in the second as DePauw defeated Rose-Hulman 2-0 in the regular season finale. Kyle Clemens posted the shutout in goal. The Tigers finished the season with a 15-3-1 overall record and an 8-1 mark in SCAC play for second place. The 15 wins equaled the school record previously set by the 1986, 1987, 1993, 1997 and 2000 teams. Box score

Schreiner earns SCAC Player of the Week honors
Senior Richie Schreiner was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week after after leading the Tigers to three wins with two goals and two assists. He scored the game-winner against Rhodes and assisted on game-winning goals against Anderson and Hendrix.

Tigers remain 21st in the nation
After a week that included wins over Anderson, Rhodes and Hendrix, the Tigers remained ranked 21st in the latest Division III rankings from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

DePauw closes home portion of regular season with 3-0 win
Three second-half goals lifted the Tigers to a 3-0 win over visiting Hendrix in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference game. Richie Schreiner scored the first two and Page Cotton added the third as DePauw won for the sixth straight time and 10th in the last 11 contests. DePauw posted its ninth shutout on the year. Tigers win fifth straight with 3-0 victory over Rhodes
Evan Shook scored twice and Bryce Skeeters once as host DePauw blanked Rhodes 3-0 in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference game. The win was the fifth straight for the 21st-ranked Tigers who improved to 13-3-1 overall and 6-1 in the SCAC. Box score

DePauw extends streak to four straight with 4-1 win
The 21st-ranked Tigers scored three goals in a span of less than 20 minutes in the first part of the second half on the way to a 4-1 win over visiting Anderson. Andrew Penalva scored the first two with Craig Lippincott and Andrew Kirk each adding one. Box score

Tigers win third straight win 1-0 win at Principia
Bryce Skeeters scored in the 35th minute on an assist from Andy McCaslin to lead 20th-ranked DePauw to a 1-0 win at Principia. Box score

20th-ranked Tigers blank Illinois Wesleyan
The visiting and 20th-ranked Tigers shutout host Illinois Wesleyan by a 4-0 count. Richie Schreiner scored a hat trick with all goals coming in the first half. Box score

16th-ranked Tigers move to 5-1 in SCAC play with shutout win at Southwestern

First-half goal sends Tigers to first SCAC loss
Host Trinity, ranked first in Division III, scored midway through the first half and made it hold up in a 1-0 SCAC win over 16th-ranked DePauw. Wes Molyneaux recorded 14 saves for the 8-3-1 Tigers. Box score

Tigers move up to 16th in national rankings
DePauw cracked the top 25 rankings by vaulting all the way to 16th according to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

DePauw extends streak to four straight with 2-0 win over Millsaps
Andy Cohen and Marc Pfleging scored second-half goals and Wes Molyneaux recorded the shutout in DePauw's 2-0 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference win over visiting Millsaps. The Tigers improved to 8-2-1 overall and 4-0 in the SCAC. Box score

Tigers blank Stormy Petrels, 6-0
DePauw scored three times in each half and outshot visiting Oglethorpe 35-3 on the way to a 6-0 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory. Pfleging named SCAC Player of the Week
After leading the DePauw defensive effort in wins over previously unbeaten Centre and also against Sewanee, defender Marc Pfleging was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

Andrew Penalva scored twice in the first 20 minutes and that's all the Tigers needed in a 5-1 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference win at Sewanee. Blake Porter, Marc Pfleging and Evan Shook also added goals for DePauw which improved to 6-2-1 overall and 2-0 in the SCAC. Box score

DePauw tops Centre, 3-1
DePauw jumped out to a 2-0 first-half lead and made it hold up in a 3-1 SCAC win over previously undefeated and 11th-ranked Centre. Richie Schreiner, Andrew Penalva and Kyle Stefankiewicz each scored for the Tigers. Box score

Tigers lose at Chicago, 1-0
DePauw dropped to 4-2-1 on the season after a 1-0 loss at the University of Chicago. The Tigers outshot the Maroons 21-9, but Eugene Sung's goal at 72:30 was the difference in the contest. Box score

DePauw tops Little Giants 4-1
The Tigers scored twice in the opening 12 minutes and made it stand in a 4-1 victory at Wabash. Andrew Penalva, Evan Shook, Craig Lippincott and Andy Cohen each scored for the 4-1-1 Tigers. Tigers fall to 4th-ranked Bishops
Cole Graham's unassisted goal with just under 18 minutes left gave visiting and fourth-ranked Ohio Wesleyan a 2-1 win over DePauw. Andy Cohen, playing in his first game of the season scored at 64:07 on an assist from Bryce Skeeters and Richie Schreiner. Chris Vorenkamp then knotted the score with a goal just 33 seconds later on an assist from Nick Noel. Box score

DePauw remains unbeaten with 2-1 win over Earlham
Evan Shook's unassisted goal at the 63:17 mark lifted the Tigers to a 2-1 win over visiting Earlham. The Tigers scored first against the Quakers as Richie Schreiner scored on Shook's assist at 53:17. Earlham's Jason Seaman tied it with a goal at the 62-minute mark before Shook scored the eventual game-winner. Box score

Tigers rally for 3-3 tie against Wittenberg
Trailing 2-0 in the first half, DePauw rallied to take a 3-2 lead in the second half. Visiting Wittenberg scored with just over seven minutes in regulation to force the overtime. Neither team scored in the two extra sessions and the match ended 3-3. Craig Lippincott, Mark Pfleging and Mark Prosser each scored for the Tigers, while Mike Walsh scored all three for Wittenberg. Shook's second-half goal lifts Tigers to 1-0 win over 13th-ranked Hornets
Evan Shook scored at the 58:43 mark on an assist from Craig Lippincott and the Tigers held on to gain a 1-0 win over 13th-ranked and visiting Kalamazoo College. Tigers open season with 6-0 win over Britons (8-31-02)
DePauw opened the 2002 season with a convincing 6-0 blanking of Albion College at Boswell Field in the first game of the DePauw Classic. Andrew Penalva scored two goals, while Bryce Skeeters, Craig Lippincott, Evan Shook and Graham Lukens each scored one in the win. Wes Molyneaux and Kyle Clemens shared the shutout in goal.
