November 5, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw senior forward Sarah Riffle is one of 38 student-athletes who has been selected to compete in the 2009 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III Senior All-Star game.
The game is scheduled to take place at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 22 at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Mass.
Riffle leads DePauw with 11 goals, 26 total points and three game-winning goals. Her four assists are second on the squad. Riffle also leads the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference in points and shares the conference lead in game-winning goals. She's also earned SCAC Offensive Player of the Week honors three times this season.
The Tigers wrap up the regular season this weekend when they compete in the SCAC Championship at Hendrix College in Conway, Ark. DePauw (11-7, 5-3) is seeded third and opens play on Saturday, November 7, against second-seeded Centre in a 1:30 p.m. CST semifinal game.
