November 6, 2009, Atlanta, Ga. — The 24th-ranked and third-seeded Tigers advanced to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Championship semifinals following a 3-1 (25-19, 25-17, 23-25, 25-14) win over sixth-seeded Centre in the quarterfinals.
Kristen Chynoweth led the Tigers with 14 kills and six blocks, while Madison Hoenig had 23 digs and Ali Smith totaled 55 assists.
DePauw improved to 28-7 with the win and faces Colorado College. Saturday's quarterfinal match is set for 1:30 p.m.
