July 9, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — Three members of the DePauw women's track and field team are among the 274 student-athletes representing 91 schools who were named to the 2009 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Track and Field Team.
May graduate Adrienne Cobb as well as rising seniors Alison Case and Lauren Reich earned spots on the team.
The USTFCCCA honors Division III individuals for their academic and athletic achievements during the indoor and outdoor track and field season. To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 and have met the NCAA Division III indoor or outdoor automatic or provisional qualifying standard in their respective event.
DePauw was also recognized by the organization as a Division III All-Academic Track and Field Team. The Tigers were among 100 Division III programs with at least a 3.100 cumulative grade point average. DePauw finished with a 3.240 team GPA.
