October 2, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — Following a fifth-place showing at the O'Brien National Invitational and a runner-up performance at the DePauw Small College Classic, the Tigers have moved up four spots to fifth in the latest Golf World/National Golf Coaches Association Division III Women's Golf poll.
DePauw totaled 287 points, while Methodist garnered all 15 first-place votes for 375 points. Gustavus Adolphus is second with 341 points followed by Wisconsin-Eau Claire with 332 and St. Mary's (Ind.) with 298.
The Tigers return to action on October 10-11 at Wittenberg's Pat Clouse Invitational.
