October 21, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — Following a fourth-place finish at Wisconsin-Oshkosh's Brooks Invitational, DePauw climbed 15 spots in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division III rankings and are ranked 10th in the nation.
The Tigers picked up 202 points in the poll, while Calvin tops the rankings with 278 points followed by John Hopkins with 274 and MIT with 262. DePauw is ranked second among Great Lakes Region schools.
DePauw returns to action on Saturday, October 31, when it goes after its seventh straight Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship. The Championships take place in Atlanta and are hosted by Oglethorpe University.
