Ferguson, Argetsinger named to
all-SCAC first team
Senior Dana Ferguson and sophomore
Amy Argetsinger earned all-SCAC first team honors in voting by the
SCAC's 10 head coaches. Ferguson was runner-up to Oglethorpe's Heather
Francourer for Player of the Year honors and garnered four votes towards
the league's top player honor. Junior Tria Yoder was an honorable
mention selection.

Tigers fall to Trinity in SCAC
Championship game
Dana Ferguson scored 14 points and
grabbed 16 rebounds, but it wasn't enough as top-seed Trinity knocked
off DePauw 63-47 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference title
game. Melissa Carl led Trinity with 14, while Megan Selmon added 13 and
Allison Wooley with 11. Trinity advances to the NCAA Division III
Championship with the conference's automatic bid.

Athletic Conference loss. The Tigers will have the number-two seed at
the SCAC Tournament and will play Oglethorpe at 1 p.m. CST on Thursday
at Rhodes College.

The Tigers used a 28-1 run in the
first half to turn a four-point deficit into a 23-point lead on the way
to a 101-63 win at Oglethorpe. Amy Argetsinger scored a season-high 19,
while Colleen Powers matched a career-high with 16 on 8-of-8 from the
field. Sarah Zondor added 13 with Heather Wiles and Dana Ferguson each
adding 10. DePauw shot 61 percent from the floor and committed just
eight turnovers for their third straight game in single digits.

Ferguson named SCAC Player
of the Week for a third time this season
Senior Dana Ferguson has
earned
Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week
honors for a third time this season. The honor is for her
performances in the Tigers' wins over Thomas More, Rhodes and
Hendrix. In those three games she
averaged 20.7
points, 13.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.0 steals for the
21st-ranked Tigers. That included career highs of 27 points and 16
rebounds in an overtime win at Rhodes. She posted two
double-doubles in that time and just missed a third with 10 points
and nine rebounds at Hendrix.

The 21st-ranked Tigers
opened the second half with a 17-2 run on the way to a 60-39 SCAC
win at Hendrix. Amy Argetsinger paced the Tigers with 13 followed

Thomas More. Dana Ferguson equaled career highs with 25 points and

points and Lindsay Houin 10. DePauw shot nearly 51 percent from
the field, hit 25 of 26 free throws and outrebounded the Saints
44-29 in the win. Additionally, the limited Thomas More to just 33

halftime, DePauw outscored Adrian
41-24 in the second half on
the way to a 71-58 win in their second and final game at the Cruzin Classic in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The Tigers also outrebounded Adrian 27-7 over the final 20
minutes.
Tria Yoder, Dana Ferguson and Amy Argetsinger each scored 13 for the 22nd-ranked Tigers, while Lindsay Houin added 10. Yoder equaled a career high, while Houin established one in the win. school history after 72-46 win; Ferguson named tourney MVP
The Tigers improved to 4-0
for the first time in school history after a 72-46 win over
visiting Manchester in Sunday's second game of the DePauw Classic.
Dana Ferguson, the tournament MVP, led DePauw with 13 points and
also grabbed seven rebounds. Kim Weigle was named to the
all-tournament team after finishing with 12 points, six rebounds
and four assists in the win. Manchester's Erica Sewell earned a
spot on the all-tourney team with 23 points and 14 rebounds in the
contest. Anna Hall of Rose-Hulman and Stephanie Davis of Beloit
were also named to the team.
