Ferguson, Argetsinger named to all-SCAC first team
Senior Dana Ferguson and sophomore Amy Argetsinger earned all-SCAC first team honors in voting by the SCAC's 10 head coaches. Ferguson was runner-up to Oglethorpe's Heather Francourer for Player of the Year honors and garnered four votes towards the league's top player honor. Tigers ranked 23rd by D3hoops.com
In the final regular season poll released by D3hoops.com, the Tigers were ranked 23rd in the nation. DePauw picked up a total of 76 points in the latest rankings.

Tigers fall to Trinity in SCAC Championship game
Dana Ferguson scored 14 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, but it wasn't enough as top-seed Trinity knocked off DePauw 63-47 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference title game. Melissa Carl led Trinity with 14, while Megan Selmon added 13 and Allison Wooley with 11. Trinity advances to the NCAA Division III Championship with the conference's automatic bid. Tigers advance to SCAC title game with 72-38 win over Hendrix
Sarah Zondor scored 14 and Colleen Powers added 10 as 19th-ranked DePauw rolled to a 72-38 win in the first semifinal game of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Championship. Tigers climb in both national polls; ranked 17th in both
DePauw, winners of eight straight and 14 of their last 15 games, moved up two spots to 17th in the latest D3hoops.com poll and up one place to 17th in the ESPN/USA Today/WBCA rankings. The Tigers are 19-3 overall and 11-1 in the SCAC and one game behind league leader Trinity headed into Friday's game in San Antonio.

Sarah Zondor scored 16 and Kim Weigle added 14 to lead DePauw to a 62-45 SCAC win at Millsaps. The Tigers jumped out to a 20-4 lead and were never threatened in earning their fifth straight win and 11th in the last 12 games. FULL STORY

The Tigers used a 28-1 run in the first half to turn a four-point deficit into a 23-point lead on the way to a 101-63 win at Oglethorpe. Amy Argetsinger scored a season-high 19, while Colleen Powers matched a career-high with 16 on 8-of-8 from the field. Sarah Zondor added 13 with Heather Wiles and Dana Ferguson each adding 10. With two SCAC wins last weekend, the Tigers remained ranked 21st in the latest D3hoops.com national poll. DePauw is also ranked 21st in the first poll by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association. The Tigers are 10-2 on the season and have won five straight.

Ferguson named SCAC Player of the Week for a third time this season
Senior Dana Ferguson has earned Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors for a third time this season. The honor is for her performances in the Tigers' wins over Thomas More, Rhodes and Hendrix. In those three games she averaged 20.7 points, 13.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.0 steals for the 21st-ranked Tigers. That included career highs of 27 points and 16 rebounds in an overtime win at Rhodes. She posted two double-doubles in that time and just missed a third with 10 points and nine rebounds at Hendrix.

22nd-ranked Tigers roll past Saints
DePauw, ranked 22nd in Division III by D3hoops.com, improved to 8-2 with an 82-62 win at Thomas More. Dana Ferguson equaled career highs with 25 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Tigers while Amy Argetsinger added 18 points and Lindsay Houin 10. DePauw shot nearly 51 percent from the field, hit 25 of 26 free throws and outrebounded the Saints 44-29 in the win. Additionally, the limited Thomas More to just 33 percent shooting from the floor. Big second half pushes Tigers to 13-point win
After trailing 34-30 at halftime, DePauw outscored Adrian 41-24 in the second half on the way to a 71-58 win in their second and final game at the Cruzin Classic in West Palm Beach, Florida. The Tigers also outrebounded Adrian 27-7 over the final 20 minutes.

Tria Yoder, Dana Ferguson and Amy Argetsinger each scored 13 for the 22nd-ranked Tigers, while Lindsay Houin added 10. Yoder equaled a career high, while Houin established one in the win. Rachael Petre paced Adrian with 14. Adrian shot 60 percent in the first half before the Tigers held them to just 33 percent in the second half. Box score

The 4-0 Tigers, off to the best start in school history, moved up one spot from the preseason ranking to eighth according to D3hoops.com. DePauw travels to St. Louis this weekend for the Washington University Division III Shootout. DePauw opens play on Friday at 5:30 p.m. CST against Illinois Wesleyan. Top-ranked Washington hosts Illinois College in the second game Friday with the winners and losers meeting on Saturday.

DePauw off to best start in school history after 72-46 win; Ferguson named tourney MVP
The Tigers improved to 4-0 for the first time in school history after a 72-46 win over visiting Manchester in Sunday's second game of the DePauw Classic. Dana Ferguson, the tournament MVP, led DePauw with 13 points and also grabbed seven rebounds. Kim Weigle was named to the all-tournament team after finishing with 12 points, six rebounds and four assists in the win. The Tigers, ranked ninth by D3hoops.com, trailed 30-24 with just under seven minutes left in the first half, but closed the opening 20 minutes with a 26-3 run and then opened the second half with a 27-6 spurt to put Beloit away, 98-52, in the second game of the DePauw Classic. Dana Ferguson came off the bench to score 18 points in 15 minutes, while Heather Wiles scored a career-high 16 and Jill Schneider recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Senior forward Dana Ferguson has earned Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors for her performance in season-opening wins over Anderson and John Carroll. Ferguson led the ninth-ranked Tigers with 19 points against Anderson while hauling down five rebounds. The North Central College Tournament MVP totaled 27 points and 12 rebounds in the two games.

The ninth-ranked Tigers opened the 2002-03 season with a 79-59 win over Anderson University in the first game of the North Central College Tipoff Tournament. Four Tiger front line players scored in double figures as Dana Ferguson led with a career-high 19 followed by Amy Argetsinger with 16, Colleen Powers with 11 and Jill Schneider with 10. In the D3hoops.com preseason poll the Tigers are ranked ninth in Division III. The Tigers who finished third in the nation last season, return three starters and nine letterwinners from last year's squad.

Tigers are preseason pick to defend SCAC title
The Tigers have won or shared the SCAC title each of their first four seasons in the conference and this year are the preseason number-one pick.
