Corporate Matching Gifts

Will your employer match your gift?

Every year the Annual Fund receives nearly $400,000 in corporate matching gifts. This is "free money" for the University, since it is based on gifts that have already been made by DePauw's alumni, parents and friends.

There are two simple questions that you need to ask yourself:

1. Have I made an Annual Fund gift yet this year?
2. Will my employer match my gift?

Did you know a matching gift will double or triple your own personal gift recognition?

Yes! While most companies offer a 1:1 matching ratio, some companies double or even triple an employee's gift!

If your Annual Fund gift this year is $250 and:

  • Your company has a 1:1 match, DePauw will receive an additional $250 and you will be listed as a $500 donor!
  • Your company has a 2:1 match, DePauw will receive an additional $500 and you will be listed as a $750 donor!

What do I need to do?

If you know your company offers a matching program, then stop by your human resources department and ask for a form. Submit this form with your Annual Fund gift and we take care of the rest!
