About The Washington C. DePauw Society

In keeping with the legacy of Washington C. DePauw, the University's first great benefactor, the University established the Washington C. DePauw Society in 1986 to honor those who give to the Annual Fund at the leadership level of the Charter Circle and higher. During an average year, gifts from Washington C. DePauw Society members account for nearly 80 percent of total Annual Fund dollars. The generosity and commitment of DePauw's Annual Fund leaders make an immediate and lasting impact on the academic programs, faculty and students of the University.
