2006 - 2007 Philanthropy Results
A word from Matthew Jennings, 2006 - 2007 Philanthropy ChairLast year we raised over $7,000. Last year was the first year we had a Girls Independent team. We are always looking to broaden our horizons in regards to who gets to participate. Philanthropy isn't only about money though. We look to be leaders in our community through campaigns like the "We Made the Switch" campaign in which Sigma Chi ACTUALLY got rid of all Styrofoam products from its kitchen. The "Be Fratty, Recycle your Natty" campaign demonstrates Xi Chapter's concern for the environment as well, as it promotes recycling aluminum cans and organizations like Habitat for Humanity.
