ITAP administration has decided to postpone lateral entry into the program for Fall 2009, so that it can strengthen the program for existing students as well as the program's future participants. Lateral entry for ITAP is not disappearing but merely has been postponed. Please check back here in 2010 for updated information regarding lateral entry applications. Steps to complete your application:
All students are welcome to apply to the program. Experience with various software and hardware packages is desirable, but more important is comfort working with technology and a desire to learn. We are looking for students with enthusiasm and a passion to master the latest technologies. Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership abilities are also important. You need not be a technology guru, however. Students of all majors and career interests are involved; whether your interest is business, philosophy, music, computer science, or history, we urge you to apply!
Students applying for lateral entry must complete the online registration form and submit two recommendation letters from DePauw faculty or staff members.
Admission to this highly selective program is based on the candidate's interest in working with technology, academic record, extracurricular activities and experience with technology. The program seeks outstanding leaders, thinkers and communicators, and invitations for personal interviews will be extended to those who best fit the selection criteria.
