Music Instructional Technology Center | Music Library

Music students, wherever they study, tend to "live" in the music facility of their institution. At DePauw, students enjoy the careful thought given to their needs in the Judson and Joyce  Green Center for the Performing Arts.

Be it the soundproof, environmentally-controlled practice rooms and rehearsal halls, the coffee shop and comfortable seating in bright, open spaces with wireless network connections, the advanced technology in the Music Library and MITC labs, or the central campus location (just across the street from the student union, dining facilities, the fitness center and pool), it's easy for students to make Music the center of their lives.

 

Performance Halls

Kresge Auditorium

This two-story facility is the primary concert hall for orchestra, band and jazz concerts. It can accomodate over 1250 people and features a magnificent tracker-action pipe organ of 41 stops by Hellmuth Wolff & Associates.

Thompson Recital Hall

With seating for 220, Thompson Recital Hall features a 40-foot semicircular stage.

Moore Theatre

Moore Theatre contains a wrap-around stage, pit orchestra and seating for 400. The theatre's lower level includes rooms for properties, costume design, make-up, scenery construction, laundry and dressing rooms.
