Welcome to the DePauw University Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life Web page!
The resources provided on this site will help you to learn more about Greek Life on our campus and answer some of the initial questions you may have about being Greek at DePauw.
The vision of those who work in the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life is to develop a healthy, inclusive Greek community that owns and lives the values upon which its individual organizations were founded and that is broadly respected by alumni, faculty and staff.
We strive to support students as they own their Greek experience and engage in the shared governance of their chapter and community. This shared governance will be facilitated by encouraging students to maintain health and balance in academics, affiliation, gender relations, inclusion, and risk management.
The success and sustainability of the Greek community is predicated upon trusting and collaborative relationships among the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life, other staff, students, alumni, (inter)national headquarters and faculty. Therefore, we seek to build trusting relationships founded in collaboration with both students and alumni. Ethical decision making skills of students will be developed as they live the values espoused by their Greek organization.
