Student Feedback Sought

The Princeton Review has asked DePauw to contact students for comments that may be included in the 2007 Princeton Review guides. DePauw University does not endorse the Princeton Review, but wants to give you the opportunity to share your opinions if you are interested.

The Princeton Review is giving you the opportunity to voice your opinions of the academic and social life at your school. Please complete our online survey at http://survey.review.com/. All undergraduates completing and validating a survey will be entered into the "$5,000 for Your Thoughts" Sweepstakes, with a grand prize of $5,000! (Official sweepstakes rules may be viewed at the survey website.) Please complete your survey within the next three days.

The "Students Say" profiles that appear on PrincetonReview.com and in our books will be based on survey responses from students like yourself. This text helps readers understand what life at your school is like, assisting potential students to match themselves with the school most suited to their educational and personal needs.

Please note: When you log in to our online student survey with your school-issued email address you will be given the option to receive additional information and offers from The Princeton Review. If you would like any further information, please indicate this on the login page before entering the survey.

The Princeton Review takes your privacy seriously. We will not share your personal information with any third party unless you give us permission to do so. You can read The Princeton Review's full privacy policy by clicking on the "Privacy Policy" link on the student survey login page.

Teach for America Application Deadline

Deadline is January 7, 2007

Today in our country, nine-year-olds growing up in low-income communities are already three grade levels behind their peers in high-income communities. Half of them won't graduate from high school. Those who do graduate will, on average, read and do math at the level of eighth graders in high-income communities.

This is our nation's most pressing problem.

But it doesn't have to be this way. While the problem is daunting, we see evidence every day in classrooms across the country that when students in low-income communities are given the educational opportunities they deserve, they excel.

It is this—the clear potential of students—that makes the disparities in educational outcomes so unconscionable and fuels our sense of urgency and responsibility to do everything we can to ensure educational opportunity for all.

Teach For America is the national corps of outstanding recent college graduates of all backgrounds and academic majors who commit two years to teach in urban and rural public schools and who become lifelong leaders in the effort to expand opportunity for children. Teach For America corps members receive full salary and health benefits.

Teach For America's third application deadline is January 7, 2007.
Apply now to join Teach For America and help solve our nation's most pressing problem.
If you have questions, please contact Sara Kaufman.
