| Circle K Cinderella Project |
Attention Ladies
It’s almost Spring time and that means PROM TIME. Now I realize we all have had our Proms and are done with that chapter of our lives but the girls of Putnam County are anxiously awaiting their big chance to feel like a princess and have the Perfect Prom Night.
Cinderella Project is here to do just that! Please help Circle K give the girls of Putnam County an amazing prom by donating any gently used formal dresses or accessories (i.e. purses, shoes and jewelry).
We will be collecting any donations next Wednesday, February 28 in the Hub between 3pm and 4pm. Please do what you can to help out a great cause! Questions?

The Office of Campus Life welcomes Erica Andrews to DePauw’s Campus. Ms. Andrews, originally from Mexico, is a male to female pre-op transsexual woman who began her career in the drag industry over 15 years ago. In addition to being a professional entertainer, she is a make up artist and has been employed by the Maury Povich Show in production in New York City. She travels extensively throughout the country performing as well as competing in state, national and international pageants. Her most recent titles include: National Entertainer of the Year 2006 and Miss International Queen 2006.
Ms. Andrews will be leading a formal presentation at 8pm on March 1, 2007 in the University’s Union Building Ballroom. This candid presentation details her journey as a male to female transgender woman and offers her perspective on gender identity versus sexual orientation in today’s society. The presentation will also feature highlights of her amazing career in the entertainment industry and will give guests the opportunity to broaden their understanding of the trans community.
On Friday March 2, 2007 she will be the main entertainer at the “LIVE with Erica Andrews WHITE Club Party” to be held in the Walden Social Center. Doors open at 10pm with Erica Andrews taking the stage at 11pm. White Attire is Highly encouraged!
