The Wellness Center presents DePauw Yoga for Students and Staff:

No class on Wednesday, March 28.
Yoga for Students
Thursdays, 6:30-7:45pm
Class Series Dates: February 15, 22; March 1, 8, 15 and 22; April 5, 19, 26 and May 3.
No class on Thursday, March 29 and April 12.
Classes will be conducted at the Spiritual Life Center, 307 Simpson Street.
The Spiritual Life center adequately allows 20 participants to practice yoga. Registration is recommended; registered participants receive preference into class. This is a 10-week class series, but drop-ins are permissible as space and absence allows.

| Coalition for a Responsible Community is Now Accepting New Members |
The Coalition for a Responsible Community is now accepting members for the Spring 2007 semester. The Coalition is a broad group of students, staff, faculty, and alumni volunteers committed to creating a more responsible community.
Five task forces have been hard at work this year: the Alcohol and Drugs Task Force, the Community Relations Task Force, the Hazing Task Force, the Social Programming Task Force, and the Winter Term Task Force.
All members of the DePauw community are invited to join this important work, and we particularly welcome first-year students. If you would like more information or would like to join one of these task forces, please contact Cara Setchell .

Women in Science is pleased to welcome Dr. Allison Williams, a Sigma Xi Distinguished Lecturer and Professor of Chemistry from Princeton University as part of the Percy Julian Memorial Lecture series. Dr. Williams investigates the properties of nucleic acids in terms of their local chemical structure and environment and she is also affiliated with the Princeton Graduate Program in Molecular Biophysics. A member of the National Organization of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers, she has spoken extensively on enhancing the role of women and minorities in science.
She will be talking with us about "Lessons from the Lab: An African-American Woman's Journey from Manure to DNA."

Four Black Women On DePauw University's Campus

This documentary is about four Black women Raymonda Burgman (33), Corinne McWilliams (20), Olufisayo Oluwadiya (20), and Keyaira Wynn (21).
However, it is for everyone to learn more about themselves as people in roles such as sister, brother, niece, nephew, aunt, or uncle. The documentary explores life experiences, which overlap at DePauw University in Greencastle, IN.
The filmmaker, Chinonye Chukwu, a December 2006 DePauw graduate, shot the footage during fall 2006, not for a class, but for discovery. The first campus viewing of this enlightening and thoughtful film was on November 16, 2006.

Description: Toni Odom is a communications professional whose career has spanned over 20 years as a public speaker, print journalist and broadcast personality. This talented workshop presenter uses audience interaction and a keen sense of timing to make presentations interesting and timely. Humor and her sincere belief in the issues she addresses make her a powerful and memorable speaker. Toni has conducted workshops for various types of audiences including youth, women's groups, religious organizations and even male and female adult correctional institutions. She is trained in Victim/Offender mediation and has a way of relating to any audience to get her message across. She is the author of Sistahs N' SistahHood and has earned a reputation of speaking to the various issues that affect the African American community, especially youth and women.
