Why drive to Indy when you can take a prep class on campus? It's also offered at a fraction of the cost of most LSAT classes which can cost up to $1400!
The course, taught by Test Review Institute was originally taught in New Orleans until Hurricane Katrina hit. It is now based out of Bloomington and a teacher will travel to campus to teach the course.

| The Commons Project Essay Contest |
The Commons Project at DePauw University is a grant-supported initiative that works toward the constructive engagement of science and religion.
Please address the following in approximately 1500 words:
“Is it rational to believe in God or the divine in an age of science?”
Deadline for entry is Wednesday, April 4. Please submit papers to marjorielytle@depauw.edu. The Commons Project is funded by a grant from the Metanexus Institute. Entries will be judged by the Commons Project Steering Committee, consisting of faculty, staff, and student representatives.

If you are interested in running for a position, please see the student government web site for an application packet. The application includes a letter to all candidates, a timeline of elections, descriptions and duties of positions, an application form and student signature form.
Applications for all-campus elections are due to the Office of Campus Life at 4pm Friday, March 14.
Applications for internal elections are due to the Office of Campus Life at 4pm Friday, April 6.

The Putnam County Humane Society Wants Student Volunteers!
The HSPC needs student volunteers to help out during their busy season! Volunteers set their own schedules and get to walk and play with animals that need lots of attention! You can volunteer at the HSPC anytime from 8am-5pm, 7 days a week.

This week's Hump program features guest speaker Dr. David Weiss. His presentation is entitled: Setting People Straight: "Homosexual Reparative Therapy," Gay Sheep, and Other Mad Sciences. Dr. David Weiss teaches in the Communications and Theatre Department at Montana State University in Billings, Montana. He is a media scholar who specializes in issues of political rhetoric, queer theory, film,
and persuasion. Prior to entering academia, he was an executive with several of New York's top advertising agencies.
Everyone is welcome: all students, faculty, staff, and members of the community.
Stay for an hour or as long as you'd like.

| Statewide Tornado Drill |
Putnam County will take part in a statewide tornado drill this week as meteorologists prepare for the return of severe weather season.
Putnam County will be part of two drills on Wednesday, one in the morning between 10:30am and 11am and one in the evening between 7pm and 7:30pm. The sirens will be tested weekly, beginning Friday and continuing throughout the spring and summer seasons.
