South Putnam High School

Four South Putnam High School Biology Classes visited the Nature Park on October 13, 2006; two classes each in the morning and afternoon sessions.

The students participated in an interactive guide of the Quarry Trail. The trail included 11 observation and question stations, which the students completed in small groups. Following completion of the trail, students participated in small group discussions about their observations, invasive species and nature preservation. The trip was led by South Putnam Biology Teacher Mr. Griswold, Student Teacher McKenna Smith, and Nature Park Intern Megan Michael
