Welcome to the Publications Office

The Publications Office works to advance DePauw University as a leading, national liberal arts university. The Publications Office provides a complete publications service to University departments, offering expert help beginning with the planning stage through the production and eventual distribution.

The office particularly supports the publications, photography and communication needs of the University and its faculty members, staff members, students and alumni. Thus, the office is the clearinghouse for all publications targeted to the University's various publics. When working with you on projects, Publications Office staff members will review editorial contents and consider the goals and objectives of your publication as well as the factors of time and budget. The office staff maintains editorial style and graphic standards, including use of DePauw University logos, for both print and Web-based communications.

Along with graphic design and writing, photography is an essential element of the University publication process. The Publications Office provides images that reflect the intellectual and creative life at DePauw University. The University Photographer can be requested to photograph student life, special lectures, athletics, performances and miscellaneous campus events. An online photo gallery can be accessed at www.depauw.edu/photos. A searchable database allows images to be located, reviewed and downloaded from that site.

To request a photographer to cover an event, please send details of the person/event, date, time and location to photographicservices@depauw.edu. The photographer will review the information and let you know if the request can be added to the assignment list.
