Deer

Deer are abundant in the DePauw Nature Park. Students and faculty members have conducted several research projects on deer.

• Are there too many deer in a large private park in west-central Indiana? - research conducted by Vanessa Fox and numerous students from 2008 to 2011

• Do deer avoid areas with human scent? - research conducted by Mitch Strobl '12 and Vanessa Fox during 2011-12 academic year
