Leaves:
Leaves look like parsley, finely dissected, pinnately lobed.
Flowers:
Flowers are tiny, less than 1/8 inch in diameter, with five white petals, produced in umbels at the tip of a stem. Blooms in spring, April and May.

The genus name Chaero- is from the Greek for “pleasant” and -phyllum is from the Greek for “leaf,” referring to the fragrance of the leaves.
