You may pursue career exploration opportunities as a chance to learn more about career options in a given industry and build on professional skills, goals, and knowledge in a meaningful way. Many opportunities are available through Handshake, or you may develop opportunities through networking. Workshops and advisers in the Hubbard Center are here to help you through the process.

How do I submit my internship for Extended Studies Credit and add my internship to my transcript?
To count your internship for Extended Studies during any term, complete the following steps by the deadline prior to the term: Deadline May Term May 1st, Winter Term December 1st
- Login to Handshake
- In the upper-right corner, click on "Career Center" > Experiences > Request an Experience
- Select “Experience Type: Short-Term Internship” and then the appropriate Term
- You must have a complete application for consideration: (1) the Handshake Experience, (2) an updated resume, and (3) a Liability Release Form, which becomes available under Resources once they've submitted the Experience.
