Estudio is a Windows form application developed with C# that teaches 3rd through 5th grade students basic Spanish. It includes lessons about the alphabet, numbers, colors, animals, and conversations. Students are able to hear the words pronounced by hovering their mouse over images and text. The material taught is reinforced with activities, quizzes, and a final test. This application also has database functionality to allow students to retrieve their past scores. It was designed with this target audience in mind, using bright colors and fun graphics to help students learn.
