A Simulation of the Solar System from Antiquity

Steve Norak

This project is designed to place students in the astronomical minds of ancients. This executable program will allow the user to manipulate their position on a central, fixed location, the world, to see how the solar system is viewed in antiquity. The solar system consisting of stars, constellations and planets will rotate around the world. This project places the user in an environment where they can envision themselves as an ancient astronomer looking from any location on the world.
