Every year at DePauw there are dumpsters full of miscellaneous objects thrown out. From empty binders to full couches, the amount of “garbage” is too high. DePauw needs a better way of handling the leftovers of their students. This project will build a website that allows users to create an account of their own and be able to recycle their unwanted valuables. With an account on DePauw’s Trades the user will be able to post items on the market and browse the market. Users will be able to message each other and even offer up a price or a trade. The user will have a profile that consists of a bio and all the items the user has listed. It will also require a password to be able to keep their listings and contacts safe.
