Jennifer Everett
Associate Professor of Philosophy and Co-Director, Enviromental Fellows Program
Associate Professor of Philosophy Jennifer Everett came to DePauw in 2006 after teaching at Carleton College and the University of Alaska Anchorage. She earned her Ph.D., M.A., and an Interdisciplinary Certificate in Environmental Policy from the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she wrote her dissertation on the Ethics of Consumption. Her recent scholarly work deals with environmental ethics, animal welfare, and sustainability in higher education. As DePauw’s first “Sustainability Coordinator,” she played a leading role in educating the community to take responsibility for reducing our institutional ecological footprint. She currently serves as Co-Director of DePauw's Environmental Fellows Program.
