  • Geology Club: For students who share a passion for the fields of geology, environmental geosciences, earth sciences and related fields, this club applies classroom knowledge to real world situations.
  • Students of Color in STEM: Designed for students of color in STEM-related majors, or with interests in STEM-related career fields, this organization provides students with a network of support.

  • The Percy L. Julian Science and Mathematics Center: Julian is home to numerous classrooms, laboratories and offices, as well as a spacious atrium for studying with fellow students.
  • DePauw Nature Park: Consisting of 520 acres of forest, fields and limestone quarry, the Nature Park is more than a giant outdoor classroom; it's also home to the Janet Prindle Institute for Ethics, the Ian and Mimi Roland Welcome and Activities Center, the Manning Environmental Field Station, and the James and Sue Bartlett Reflection Center.
  • Roy O. West Library: After a full renovation and a reopening in 2023, this beautiful facility houses a plethora of resources including meeting rooms, archives and special collections, the Tenzer Technology Center and Cafe Roy.

Geology and Environmental Geoscience

Leveraging the resources of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the environmental geoscience major and minor at DePauw are housed in the Department of Geology and Environmental Geoscience. This department fosters a community based on mutual respect and understanding that values the open exchange of ideas and diverse perspectives from all.
