Under the direction of George Verdak, Deborah Grammel has performed in the following classical ballets: Les Sylphides, Swan Lake, Raymonda, The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty. In conjunction with her studies at Butler University, she also trained in Michigan City, New York City, Houston, Chicago, and Miami.
She has created and designed costumes for Butler, Indianapolis Ballet Theatre, and Dance Kaleidoscope. Grammel holds both a Bachelor and a Master of Arts degree in performing arts from Butler University. Appointed 1979.
