mscott@depauw.edu to schedule a free guided tour for school and civic groups. The galleries are wheelchair accessible.

DIRECTIONS

The Richard E. Peeler Art Center is located on the campus of DePauw University, at the corner of E. Hanna Street and S. Indiana Street in Greencastle, Indiana.  Free visitor parking is located behind the building.  Please click here for further directions

VISITORS AND ACCOMMODATIONS 

For Visitors with Mobility Impairments

Accessible parking is available in both the Peeler Art Center parking lot and the Julian parking lot.  An accessible entrance is located on the north side of the building at Hanna Street and Indiana Avenue. Elevator access to all levels of Peeler is available in the lobby.

Service Animals

Service animals are welcome in the Gallery.

Please allow sufficient time to arrange the accommodation.  Without sufficient notice, appropriate space and/or assistance may not be available.

FACULTY AND STUDENTS

Bringing your Class
For group tours or visits, please contact Misti Scott at 765-658-4336 or mscott@depauw.edu. Advance notice of at least one week is appreciated for planning purposes. 

Access to Collections 
Students and faculty are invited to use the art collection at DePauw for teaching and research purposes. Approximately one-third of the art collection (primarily Japanese, Tibetan, and 19th - 21st century American) is accessible online through Collector Systems. Please contact us directly for a more complete listing.

Teaching Spaces and Resources
Several spaces exist for students and faculty to incorporate object-based learning into their assignments and classrooms teaching:

  • Galleries at Peeler
  • Galleries at Emison
  • Print Education Room at Peeler
  • Collections Storage room
  • Object Cart for classroom use
