Statement on Scholarly or Artistic Work
Brooks Kirchgassner’s scholarship focuses on the intersection of class, gender, and race in political solidarity movements in the U.S. His research interests span American politics, political theory, and phenomenology of race and identity. He is currently working on a manuscript about the Chicago-based organization Rising Up Angry, the Rainbow Coalition, and epistemic solidarity.
