Veronica joined the DePauw community in 2006, having previously taught music and humanities courses for the City Colleges of Chicago while acting as an Instructional Technology Liaison for other faculty members. For DePauw, she teaches courses in computer music and pedagogical applications of music technologies.
Veronica leads DePauw's instructional technology team, provides consultations and workshops on pedagogical applications of social media, technology-enabled creative collaboration and digital musicianship.
Veronica received degrees in Music Composition from Princeton University and the University of Illinois, and studied with Paul Lansky, Steven Mackey, Milton Babbitt and Scott Wyatt. Veronica's music employs unique musical applications of digital technologies.
An active jazz pianist and composer, Veronica plays in local ensembles. She regularly performs with students in the Jazz at The Duck series, recently composed/produced an electronic score for DePauw's spring dance production, conducted a stage ensemble for DePauw Theatre's production of The Who's Tommy, and composed installation music for DePauw's ArtsFest.
