Bio:
Mary Kertzman's primary interest is very high energy (VHE) gamma ray astrophysics. She works with VERITAS, the Very Energetic Radiation Imaging Telescope Array System, located in Arizona. She has worked on the design of VERITAS and done data analysis. Her current big project is computer simulations of gamma ray and cosmic ray air showers. She also is analyzing data from VERITAS, trying to measure the spectrum of cosmic ray electrons. She usually spends a week each semester working at VERITAS in Arizona.
