DePauw Symphony Orchestra Concert to be Broadcast and Webcast

September 13, 2001, Greencastle, Ind. - If you're unable to attend Sunday's season opening concert by the DePauw Symphony Orchestra, you can still enjoy the performance, no matter where you are in the world. The 3 p.m. program this Sunday, September 16, will be broadcast live on WGRE-FM (91.5 FM), which can also be accessed over the Internet by and on the Web at the radio station's Web site, by clicking here.
The one-hour concert will include the Overture to the lyric opera "Mignon" by French composer, Ambroise Thomas; and, the dramatic and powerful Symphony No. 5 by the Russian composer, Peter Ilyich Tchaikowsky.
All DePauw Symphony Orchestra performances are free and open to the public.
