Prizes and Information at DePauw Health Fair Tuesday

October 25, 2001, Greencastle, Ind. - If you have questions about your health or benefits, want to get a flu shot or just want the chance to win some great prizes, DePauw's Memorial Student Union Building is the place to be next Tuesday, October 30, 2001. The Office of Human Resources and CIGNA HealthCare will be hosting a Health, Wellness & Benefits Fair in the UB Ballroom.

Representatives from the participating companies will be available from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A door prize will be given at 8, 9, and 10 a.m. and 12 noon, 1, 2, and 3 p.m. to employees or visitors at the fair. Some of the participating companies will also have "giveaway" items for people who visit their booths.

Flu shots will also be available for DePauw employees at no charge. There is a $10 charge for the spouse of an employee. The nurse who will administer the shots will be in the ballroom from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The following companies will participate in the fair: CIGNA HealthCare, Cummins Mental Health, Curves for Women, Greencastle Physical Therapy, Poplar Street Gallery, Indiana Hand Center, Indiana Insurance Company, Putnam County Hospital, Mental Health Association in Putnam County, Russell Chiropractic Offices, Weight Watchers, Members Heritage Federal Credit Union, Teachers Credit Union, West Central Federal Credit Union, Sam's Wholesale Club, American Century Investment Services, Fidelity Investments Services, Teachers Insurance Annuity Association/College Retirement Equities Fund (TIAA/CREF), Variable Annuity Life Insurance Company (VALIC) and TIAA/CREF Long Term Care Insurance.

The health care is free and open to the public. Like the flu shots, door prizes are only available to members of the DePauw community.
