DePauw Choir and Century Singers Hawaii-Bound

December 27, 2001, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw University student singers will take a “Hawaiian holiday” of sorts during Winter Term 2002. The DePauw Choir and Century Singers, under the direction of Stanley Irwin, will perform several times in Honolulu from Sunday, January 13, through Friday, January 18.
The Hawaiian concert tour will include performances at two churches on Jan. 13 and daily concerts at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. The DePauw Choir and Century Singers will perform their main concert on Jan. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Honolulu Academy of Arts-Academy Theatre.

Friday, January 18, 2002
- 7:30 p.m., Honolulu Academy of Arts-Academy Theatre - 900 South Beretania St., Honolulu, HI 96814. (808) 532-8717 (Full concert, featuring music of Vaughn Williams, Lundvik, Mendelssohn and Bernstein. $10 admission at the door.)
Prior to departing Greencastle, the musicians will present a free local concert. On Friday, January 11, 2002 at 7:30 p.m., the DePauw musicians will perform at Gobin Memorial United Methodist Church in Greencastle.
