Senior Management Fellow Honored for Entrepreneurial Contributions

June 30, 2004, Greencastle, Ind. - Matt Bereman, who will be a senior at DePauw University this fall, was recognized at this month's 20th anniversary luncheon of the Venture Club of Indiana with a special award for outstanding contributions to the entrepreneurial community of Indiana. Through his Management Fellows internship with inception, LLC, an Indianapolis venture capital investment firm, Matt was given the chance to become involved with the Indiana Venture Conference. Held May 4-6 in Indianapolis, the event brought together venture capitalists and entrepreneurs from across the Midwest. Bereman served on the event's steering committee, and was an integral part in organizing everything from the registration process to the daily logistics of the conference. 2001 DePauw graduate and inception employee Nick Bowles also was honored by the Club.
The conference was sponsored by the Venture Club and the Indiana CPA Society. The three days of events had a total registration of 600 people and included presentations to over 120 investors from ten emerging Indiana companies. Read more by clicking here.
