Board Chair Judson Green '74 Rings Opening Bell on NYSE

August 6, 2004, Greencastle, Ind. - Judson C. Green Jr. -- president and CEO of NAVTEQ, a 1974 graduate of DePauw and chair of the University's Board of Trustees -- rang the opening bell this morning to begin trading at the New York Stock Exchange. Green's company celebrated its initial public offering this morning, and the ringing of the opening bell is carried internationally on CNBC and other news outlets. NAVTEQ trades on the NYSE under the symbol "NVT."
