DePauw Hosts Instructional Technology Summit Thursday

August 10, 2004, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw University will welcome the top information technology leaders from Indiana colleges and universities this Thursday, August 12, when it hosts the 2nd Annual Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI) Instructional Technology Summit. ICI, a non-profit corporation, represents more than 30 accredited, degree granting, non-profit independent colleges and universities in the state. The keynote speaker for the event will be Bonnie Pribush, professor of mathematical sciences at Franklin College and director of Franklin' Leadership Program.
"This will provide us the opportunity to highlight DePauw's award-winning programs and facilities and to share DePauw's best practices," says Dennis A. Trinkle, chief information officer at DePauw and a 1991 graduate of the University. "It will also offer our faculty, students, and staff the opportunity to learn about the exciting ideas and innovations occurring at other institutions. Our staff and faculty will benefit greatly by exchanging ideas with the state's technology leaders."
