DePauw Recaptures Monon Bell in a Thriller; See the Video

November 12, 1955, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw University recaptured the Monon Bell for the first time in seven years with a field goal as time expired in one of the storied rivalry's most breathtaking finishes. The final score was 23-20.
The crowd stormed the field after Fred Williams, a fullback, connected from 18 yards out on his first career field goal try as time expired.
The Tigers and head coach Mike Snavely finish the season with a 5-4 record.
