DePauw Students Place Fourth in 'Ethics Bowl'

November 17, 1999, Greencastle, Ind. - A team of five DePauw students won three of four matches and finished fourth overall in the First Annual Indiana Regional Ethics Bowl held in Indianapolis. The half-day competition for undergraduate students is intended to promote moral reasoning skills.

Members of the DePauw team were junior Andrew M. Cullison, captain; senior Maria R. Dahman; senior Dinah L. Hanson; senior Amanda L. Miller; and senior Christopher J. Weaver. Faculty advisers are Marcia A. McKelligan, professor and chair of philosophy, and Robert D. Newton Jr., professor of philosophy.
