342 Students Serving Winter Term Internships Around the Nation & World

January 6, 2000, Greencastle, Ind. - A big advantage of DePauw's Winter Term during January is that students have the opportunity to get experience and explore different options through participation in internships around the country and world. During the 2000 Winter Term, a total of 342 students are serving a variety of exciting and enriching internships.

Examples of the internship sites are: the Jerry Springer Show, Chicago; Indiana Pacers; The Smile Train, Beijing, China; Thoreau Language Institute, Boston; Chicago Blackhawks Hockey Team; St. Louis Symphony Orchestra; Office of Senator Richard Lugar; Indiana University School of Medicine; Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic; Indiana Governor's Office; NBC Entertainment, New York City; Kansas City Board of Trade; MCG Metric Components, Germany; ABC News Nightline, Washington, D.C.; Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago; NASA Johnson Space Center; U.S. Department of the Treasury; Children's Diagnostic Center, Chattanooga, Tenn.; Merrill Lynch, Chicago; Texas House of Representatives; United Nations Development Programme, Jerusalem, Israel; Foote Cone Belding, New York City.
