Tigers Roar in 33-11 Bell Victory

November 14, 1987, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw University's football team gave their home fans plenty to cheer about at Blackstock Stadium today, as the Tigers reclaimed the Monon Bell from Wabash College with a 33-11 victory. Quarterback Jeff Voris threw for 193 yards and 4 touchdowns on the afternoon, with two of the scoring grabs made by freshman wide receiver Tony Mazur.
Junior tight end Greg Werner led all receivers, pulling in seven passes for 102 yards. and earned the school's 400th Tigers on the board, junior football victory.
The Bell returns to Greencastle after three years in Crawfordsville. It was DePauw's 400th all-time football triumph.
