22nd-ranked Tigers win Otterbein Invitational

Westerville, Ohio - The 22nd-ranked men's cross country team totaled 33 points and won the Otterbein Invitational. The hosts placed second with 56 points.

 

DePauw's Graham Wellman was second in 25:25 just behind Otterbein's Mike Sawicki who won in 24:57.4. Jared Mann was third in 25:36.9 followed by Ben Stallsworth in sixth in 25:47.7 and Matthew Behrensmeyer in seventh at 25:55.9.

 

Other DePauw finishers included Peter Hogg (15th, 26:14.3), Chad Bennett (16th, 26:15.3), Chris McGrew (17th, 26:21.2), Dusty Kime (18th, 26:21.7), Drew Wyant (20th, 26:28.1), Keith Marshall (24th, 26:44.9), Derick Lawrence (27th, 26:55.9), Ryan Fenstermaker (29th, 26:57.3), Daniel Bretscher (33rd, 27:08.7), Brett McArthur (56th, 28:02.1), Steve Rybak (60th, 28:14.1), Andy Strasburg (65th, 28:34.7), Eric Syverson (72nd, 29:01.0), Kendal Gulbrandsen (79th, 29:10.5) and Brandon Hood (106th, 30:54.3)
