Golf Channel to Feature DePauw This Week

November 8, 2004, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw University's campus and two members of its golf teams will be featured in a story that will air on the Golf Channel's College Central program, this Wednesday, November 10, at 8:30 p.m. EST. The segment, which runs about four minutes, will be repeated on November 11 at noon and on November 12 at 4:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.

According to Bill Wagner, sports information director for DePauw, "The piece includes seniors Lindsay Amore and Jason Schwerdt at various sites on campus 'introducing' the audience to the University and the golf program." Viewers should see a number of familiar campus locations. Shooting for the story took place at Windy Hill Country Club, Blackstock Stadium, Marvin's, East College, the Percy Lavon Julian Science and Mathematics Center, Alpha Chi Omega, and the new DePauw Nature Park.
